WCPAAA members volunteer with the Westerville Division of Police to provide parents with a Child ID Card
This is an ongoing project of the Westerville Division of Police. The card contains the fingerprint and photo of the child and can be used to identify the child if lost or abducted. This service is provided on Fourth Fridays in Uptown Westerville and at other community programs like Safety City. WCPAAA members help parents fill out information cards, take photos, enter information, and print out cards.
The first step is to fill out the information that is to be included on the ID card.
Staff and volunteers will take child’s photograph and enter in the information.
ID cards are printed out and given to the parents or guardians. All data is then erased from the computer.
Several opportunities for updating the ID Cards are available at Fourth Fridays and Cops and Kids Events.
