The Westerville Police Department provides fingerprinting and background checks to organizations and businesses. WCPAAA members volunteer to help the officers who provide this service on scheduled evenings at the Justice Building. WCPAAA volunteers greet and register those who wish this service as well as explain the options and charges.

Volunteers are available to provide necessary forms and instructions

Applications are available at the Police Department or upon arrival.

There is a charge of $10 for each set of rolled print cards (2 cards). There is an additional charge of $10 for each additional card. Scanned electronic prints are $25. Included for all types is a FBI level backround check. State law mandates that schools, day care centers, health care facilities, and others require such checks as part of the hiring process. Some individuals are also required to have a background check to obtain professional licensure. Many companies also have these requirements for potential employees.
